ษมต็ืสิดอ๘ has announced a four-year extension of its test-optional pilot program. Through the 2026โ27 application season, ษมต็ืสิดอ๘s seeking admission to the University will not be required to submit SAT or ACT scores.
Extending Colgateโs three-year test-optional pilot gives ษมต็ืสิดอ๘s continued flexibility to choose how their individual strengths are best represented in their applications. The program continues to support access for all ษมต็ืสิดอ๘s, including those affected by testing site limitations as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
โItโs important that our applicants are empowered and supported throughout the application process,โ said Dean of Admission Tara Bubble. โGiving ษมต็ืสิดอ๘s ownership over what they submit means they have the best opportunity to show their individuality and unique potential.โ
Test scores are just one among a number of factors in applicant review. Applicants who choose not to submit test scores will not be at a disadvantage, as Colgateโs thoughtful, holistic review considers overall academic achievement, personal character, interests that show curiosity and commitment, excitement for the spirit of intellectual pursuits, and more.
