One illustration of this is the story of Clay Club members Jake Mahr 鈥17, a and double major from Manhattan Beach, Calif., and Avalon Bunge 鈥15, a major from Ithaca, N.Y., who spun their way through spring break at the home and pottery studio of Jim 鈥64 and Sarah Young in Rogers, Ark.
