In the car this morning, I laughed with my roommate at the fact that Hamilton’s version of spring still has snow, it just lacks the winter winds.
Spring also means April Visit Days in a few weeks. The entire campus is flooded with newly-admitted ÉÁµç×ÊÔ´Íøs attending classes, eating in Frank Dining Hall, meeting others, a capella concerts, lacrosse games, campus tours, trips to the O’Connor Campus Center, and thousands of fliers floating around. Everyone, including current ÉÁµç×ÊÔ´Íøs, faculty, administrators, and prospective ÉÁµç×ÊÔ´Íøs, celebrates the one thing they already love or are just starting to fall in love with:
And as much as I want the snow to melt, I wouldn’t be surprised if it snowed again at April Visit Days. In fact, I would probably just laugh and say: ‘welcome to Colgate.’
