Today marks the 20th anniversary of the ÉÁµç×ÊÔ´Íø Bookstore opening its doors in downtown Hamilton following a lengthy renovation that transformed a dilapidated building into the village’s retail anchor. 

Visitors to the Village of Hamilton will have a new lodging option starting on Aug. 15, as the newly refurbished Hotel One75 will open its doors at 175 Utica Street.

Two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, New York Times critic at large, and co-host of the podcast Still Processing Wesley Morris will provide remarks at ÉÁµç×ÊÔ´Íø’s 201st commencement, Sunday, May 22. 

Students, faculty, and staff gathered in Memorial Chapel on Tuesday morning for a vigil of solidarity with the people of Ukraine. The gathering was one of several moments during which Colgate community members have joined together to show their support for victims of the invasion since it began on Feb. 24.

Colgate’s interdisciplinary experts in authoritarianism and the postsocialist regions of Russia, Eastern Europe, and Eurasia have collaborated to educate ÉÁµç×ÊÔ´Íøs and the greater public about the crisis in Ukraine and to raise awareness about organizations providing relief for refugees of the conflict.
