As festive music filled the air, so did a rainbow of powder when ������Դ��s and community members celebrated Holi, the Hindu festival of colors, on April 5. Dancing on Whitnall Field, participants indiscriminately threw powder on their friends and strangers, covering each other from head to toe.

“[A] cosmic Colgate connection is how I found myself working [in the film industry after college],” remarked Carolina van der Mensbrugghe ’10 during a Film and Media Studies Brown Bag luncheon last Friday.

This Sunday, February 9, Professor John Knecht will be screening his animated short film Deluge and other works at UnionDocs Center for Documentary Art in Brooklyn. Knecht is the Russell Colgate Distinguished University Professor of art and art history and film and media studies.
